We recently arrived at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas with Sun Country Airlines. The arrival process can feel a little confusing because some airlines use different areas for gates, baggage claim, and transportation.
Sun Country arrives at the D Gates, while baggage claim is located in Terminal 3. To reach Terminal 3, passengers take the airport’s automated transit system, which is quick and easy.
Along the way, you’ll even get a great view of the famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign — a fun first glimpse that your Vegas adventure has officially started. 🌟
🚐 How to Get to the Las Vegas Rental Car Center
One thing many first-time visitors don't realize is that the rental car center is not located inside the airport terminal.
The Harry Reid Rent-A-Car Center is about 3.4 miles away from the airport, and the easiest way to get there is by taking the free rental car shuttle.
After collecting your luggage, simply follow the signs for:

For this trip, we rented from Hertz. Since we have Hertz President’s Circle status, we were able to skip the regular counter process and head directly toward vehicle pickup.
